This is Simon R Green at his best. Shadows Fall is a town on the edge of reality, a place where dreams go to die. But the long-forgotten heroes, the cartoons, talking animals and toys face a threat from an outside force. They must band together and wage a war if they and their town is to survive.Typical of his work, Green takes the most comical of concepts and with them tells a dark, dangerous, gripping and very serious story.
