Ieh. Not a bad book at all, although why Ms. Pierce didn¡¦t give more character to the villain I don¡¦t know. Then again, the series is meant to focus on the children and their powers, so it¡¦s not very much a big deal. Good, short story dealing with social hierarchies, differences and acceptance of one another. Tamora uses the magic of her world to invent contraptions similar to those of our world ¡V I was pleasantly surprised to read about Daja¡¦s crafted leg.
