Compared to some of the books I read years ago about design patterns in C++, this book was actually fun to read while at same time has good depth on the topic. Great concept and approach for the purpose of self-study.

I tried to read this book before two years. But now two years are finished and i still not finished the reading for it. too bad...-_- It's really good books for design pattern starter. But actually i own this book for two years and i still not turn to the last page. (still reading...)

Great overview of a subset of the GoF Design Patterns with Java Code. Very entertaining which helps learning retention. Chances you'll actually read the whole thing compared to the actual GoF book are much higher too.

Good resource for the Gang of Four design patterns. Explains things in laments terms. The comics can be annoying, and sometimes they oversimplify.
