This famous book was not so readable for me. And I really was not able to survive till its end. Anyway, I appreciate the idea of the logically constructed and complex world, which is presented in Tolkien's books.

The book far exceeds "Lord of the Rings". With a focus on just a few characters the story feels much more personal than the huge war-torn landscapes of the Ring Trilogy. Just the best. Cheers, Mark Woods.
