A very interesting read. Great Language but i found it a little dry. wonderfull addition to your Lord of the Rings Library though.

Interesting in a lot of points, but you have to have read the Lord of the Rings to want to remotely understand it.

I have read this and thoroughly enjoyed it. Where Hurin was stilted and did not flow terribly well, these stories really fill in the gaps of the First and Second Ages. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoyed the LOTR.
