Another beautifully-written story by Lois Lowry. The story centers on acceptance, selflessness, and sacrifice. Definitely earns a spot in your library. Reserve a space too for the other Lois Lowry books. :)

Lowry has an ability to transport her reader into a world that seems to exist in some parellel universe. Once she entrances you it is hard to put the book down. This book was a thought provoking and poetic parable that I enjoyed thoroughly.

OMG Fantastic. I truly hope this isn't the end of this amazing journey from The Giver to Gathering Blue to finally The Messenger. As always Lois Lowry write a beautiful story that leaves you mesmerized and wanting more. By the end I felt like I was there feeling for the characters as if I knew them. Truly amazing!!!
