I like the premise of the book...swapping lives with someone who thinks the grass is greener on the other side. But it took more than half the book to finally get to the swapping lives part. Frustrating.A decent beach read though.

If you like Wife Swap, you will like this book despite the fact that it isn't true. Just the idea of living someone elses life for a while can really make one appreciate the life you really have. I think this book was very good however, as other reviewers have said, it does take a while to get started.

The title tells you what the story is about. That's okay, though. It's still a good story. However, being a Jane Green fan, I was disappointed in this one. It wasn't until chapter 8 that she actually got into the swapping lives. There was too much back story and too many characters to figure out. It was written in 3rd person narrative and jumped from character to character too often to realize who she was speaking of. Good, but not her best.

chick lit told from 1 american and 1 british characters perspective, meshed together by a disembodied narrator who would appear from time to time. Not sure if it's because I wasn't feeling well, but I did not like this book.

Not a literary masterpiece, but it did make me think about whether the grass is always greener. Know what? It's not. :)

I thought I'd give chick lit a try, but it really isn't my genre. If you do enjoy chick lit, I think you'll like this one. Jane Green is one of the best in this category.
