About an orphan teen. Parents adopt her, then they die. Boy things really turn out shitty for this girl. I mean, she almost had the boy. Not exactly, but you know what I mean.

As with ALL of VC Andrews books, they were never intended to be taken seriously(as if it were real life)- they're wonderfully written fiction, which, when read by the best age groups(I would say at least teens +) they won't be taken out of context, but for what they were intended- unique mysterious creatively written works of fiction. Her style of writing can draw you into the story and picture the characters in your minds eye. I can't wait to read more!

it feels like u too wil be left alone....crystal,god!!! tough life!!! its an eye-opener.jus wen gud things start happenin...DA WORST happens!!!! its a gud book though.its for people who think life is easy.life is definitely not a bed of roses!!!

I think I'd grown up and was too occupied by then to really take in what I was reading - These are definately books for the older teenager.

Was this the one I read? I don't know and I don't really care. How does V.C. Andrews keep writing these awful books? Why do people read them? Why would anyone gift one to a 7th grader who love books? Did he or she think it'll destroy said 7th grader for life? WELL, GOOD JOB IT WORKED. I hate you V. C. Andrews. You and your goddamn "apples".
