This is a favorite as far as political thrillers go. I have read all of Vince Flynn's books. I tend to read thrillers when I just want a good, fast read and I need the escape. This book definitely delivered. It had me on the edge of my seat and I was glued to it. The main character Mitch Rapp is one dude you wouldn't want on your bad side. So if you like thrillers, political intrigue, blood and guts this one is for you!!

The first of the Flynn books I've read, was hooked ever since. Basically a book about a high speed CIA operative.

This is an excellent book and keeps you reading throughout. It has a very familiar plot (something 24 explored this season for 4 episodes or so). In my opinion, this tops some of the Clancy books.
