Continuing story of Keladry who pursues her dream of achieving a knighthood with strength, patience and kindness.I really enjoy this series, which not only describes how belief in yourself and in your friends can help you overcome obstacles, but presents sexism and sexual assault in terms that can be handled by teenage readers. Set in an imaginary land, the situations that Kel encounters are still true in many parts of the world today, and allow readers to see strong female characters as well as male, grow and develop throughout the narrative.
