I remeber the chapter where a celebrated bull fighter was drunk and danced to his woman on a table. Oh Mr.Hemingway.... Salut to your writing skills

Robert Jordan's life in four days. From what I understand, war and masculinity are two of the major themes in Hemingway's work, and he reveals the essence of both in this book. Excellent and worthy read.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book just as much as I did when I read it back in college. Hemingway is such a craftsman when it comes to a story. He captures so many emotions with so few words, it never fails to amaze me. I even like the anachronistic "thee"s and "thou"s and euphemisms for obscenities. Still the best war novel I've ever read, and one of my favorites all time.

Una gran novela. Se lee como se ve una película de acción, con romance, pasión, violencia, comedia. Y todo en una tragedia de 3 días. Extraño a sus personajes!

I really enjoyed this book. Initially intimidated by the idea of reading this author, but was pleasantly surprised. An excellent story. Highly recommended!
