Lo mejor de Hemingway. Concisión, sorpresa, estilo parco, mucho diálogo, claridad de expresión, sencillez, en fin, el verdadero Hemingway. Recomiendo los siguientes cuentos: Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber, Capital of the World, Snows of Kilimanjaro, Hills like White Elephants, The Killers, Old Man at the Bridge, Up in Michigan, A Very Short Story,A Clean Well Lighted Place,The Light of the World, In Another Country. Maestro cuentista de la punta del iceberg.

I am a big fan of short stories. This is one of my favorite collections, along with "Sixty Stories" (Donald Barthelme), "Dubliners" (James Joyce), and "What We Talk About When We Talk About Love" (Raymond Carver).

So simple, but complex with detail. So right about the human condition, especially the male's.

I picked this up on a whim, thinking of all the Ernest Hemingway I didn't read in college. It opened my eyes up to the descriptive beauty it's possible to capture in words. Hemingway's reputation is well-deserved, and ironically words don't do him justice.
