This was one of my favorite books as a child. I read it (or had a parent read it) to me every night for years...my poor family probably wanted to kill me for wanting to hear this story so much!

This was one of my favorite books to read as a child. I would get so caught up in the illustrations. Perhaps this is why I am a foodie.

This was my favorite book as a child and then I purchased it (and the sequel) for my daughter and she loves it just as much.
