What a way to end the series - suspenseful up to the very last breath but haddix still managed to make it sweet and heartwarming. Truly, freedom is not just a practice of its definition, neither a way of releasing one self from the restrictions of choice - it should be an opportunity to be significant while enjoying the best things God has provided...The End!

i love this book it reminds me i have a good life and i reminds me that i could have to hide the rest og my life.....every thing that luke did o would of omg. i would not be able to shot some one i would have ran a way every thing he did i would have dont. this book imsires me to do something grate. I MISS JEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!iam soooooo like her i would have done the same thang she did.

Its the end of the shadow children siries i wish there was still more...but its a great ending.

It's so interesting to see this ... society. You have to think... this could actually happen! I mean , I know its only sci-fi, but think about...china already has a one-child-only policy, and they sterilize women purposefully so that they do not reproduce after their first child. I just think its wrong to do that. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Margaret Peterson Haddix knows how to make dialogue extrememly realistic and the suspense keeps you flipping pages faster than you'd ever except. There are so many twists to the whole series, and I love that! I also loved the ending to the series....peaceful, and everyone was free - even third-borns...especially third-borns.
