Not usually a sci-fi girl, but I really like this series. I always push it on the middle schoolers (who also love it!)

I was sooo surprised with this book. There were so many chases and blood battles (which I love) but the concept was fantastic! What amazing mind couldthink of such a storyline! This book is informative, there's a bit of teenage love and there's also violence for people like me.

I picked up this book with the anticipation that it was going to be exceptional. It is highly rated and has received many positive reviews. It was refreshing to pick up something different with such an original idea (those are the books I reach for first). Unfortunately for me, it didn't draw me in to the extent that it has for many readers. I recommend checking this one out at the library before purchasing it.

It took me a while to like it. It becomes interesting once Tally turns 16. I think it's an interesting story though I can't get to like the way it's written. Anyway, there's a chapter of the next book, "Pretties", at the end of this one. I've read it already and think I'd like to read the other three left. However, I think I could live without them too.

This is a great boook. I'm only 12 but my older sister who is just like me persuaded me to read this after i said absolutely NO! But i TOTALLY and COMPLETELY regret it! Now I instantly read every book she recommends me! I'm already on the last book, The Extras!! AWESOME!
