Maeve Binchey intertwines her plot lines in a masterful story that captures you as it trails through peoples lives. Her narrative voices create a symphony each unique but all adding to the harmony of her stories!

Another compendium - I own all of Binchy's works, have been collecting them since I was in college over 17 yrs ago! Great reads, esp if you are a fan of romance, and human drama.

Maeve Binchy writes books that make you believe that you know the characters intimately. The Copper Beach was the first of her books I read and it remains my favourite. It is a story about a group of school children and where their lives took them once they left the school yard with the copper beach in it and how their early beginnings influenced what they did with their lives.
