Not his best work by far. The bathroom scene was the highlight of the whole book, and I was bored to death through the rest of it.

Many have read this book and have given it poor reviews .I guess as an avid Stephen King reader .I went beyond the book when reading it and to where he was at this time in his life. As this book was written while recuperating from his car accident, and having Jonesy experience an automobile accident similar to what he had gone through .I felt that he was letting the readers know the struggles that he had faced after the accident .

One of Stephen King's worst books. Only Tommyknockers is worse than this absolute mess of a book. Aliens come out of people's assholes. Stephen King himself said that when all else fails go for the gross-out. That's what he did here. It was awful.

aliens with a twist. it may seem like a horror story, but it's actually more than that. it's a story about friendship (as many of stephen's books are) and what friends do for each other ... sad at times, funny also, weird and scary definitely
