A collection of novellas that are varied in subject matter. The stories range fronm decent to great. Fans of Clive Barker will eat it up.

This is one of the scariest books I almost read! I read on story in this book and was so disturbed by that one story I put the book down for good. Have never read any other Clive Barker books. However, if you like really great horror stories and you have the stomach and mind for it, check out Clive Barker's Books of Blood, Vol. 4. The Inhuman Condition is now part of that collection. But be prepared to be scared!

Another great collection of short stories by Barker. While the Body Politic may be the silliest of them all (your body parts revolt against you?!), the others instill that epic sense of horror and fantasy that Barker does so well.

I remember The Body Politic was deeply disturbing to me, and I felt uneasy in my skin for a while. Unfortunately, I barely remember anything else from this book. Need to reread the complete Books of Blood sometime in the future.
