One of the best things about Sci-Fi has always been about the completely alien world you get to see. The best thing about Warhammer 40K is you get to have a crazy war on those worlds! For example this one is about a battle for Phantine: a planet that doesn't even have a surface. Everything, including the cities, either floats or flys. This book made me realize Abnett plays for keeps though. The ending made me sadder and more shocked than I've ever been after reading a book.
