The ending may not be the best but it's better to leave an open ending and leave the readers floating. I enjoyed reading it very much. Now want to see the movie for a different ending. Don't tell me what it is yet.

OMG I loved this book, but I hate the ending! Have some kleenex handy!! What a eye opening and heart wretchening book to lives these children live!!
