Lesson learnt: Don't listen to random bitches on the road. Don't marry a bitch. Stop hanging out with friends who do either or both of the above, for fear of death. If you're king of a land where someone's doing either or both of the above, kill anyone involved or related to them.

This is definitely my favorite Shakespearean play, hands down. I had to read this for school, and it's one of the only one of his plays that I completely understood without having to look up every other word. Read it or, better yet, go watch the performance.

We all know this already, right? I'll share what happened while I was reading it...was in high school, was at one of the murders taking place. My phone rang, whole body literally flinched, and I yelled out...I was in high school, wadda ya want? LOL

Have you ever wondered why people say "Out, damned spot!"? It's from this play! I never realized how much it's referenced on television and daily life until I read this play. This is a fabulous play--a classic tragedy.

I love this story (despite it's curse) and have acted it in partsi think the metaphors are amazing this and really work and makes this play great.

No other playwrite or author has such an insight into people, their fears, their strengths and weaknesses and what brings them true joy like Shakespeare. There really isn't plotline or story that is popular today that wasn't already written by The Bart over 350 years ago. He was a genius.
