Soul Music is one of my absolute favourite Discworld stories - the introduction of Susan Sto Hilt, The Death of Rats partners up with Quoth the Raven (again) and the Faculty of Unseen University being their fuddy-duddy-selves (again, too).Pratchett continues to work his magic (Soul Music is right in the center of the Golden Age for the Discworld in terms of quality) this time using 'Music with Rocks In' as the focus.

how intersting for someone who is going to move to L.A.!!! as always: smart & witty, critical, full of sartyric, ironic symbolisms (80% of which i don´t even get ;-)

Soul Music is the 16th book in the bestselling Discworld series, with close ties to the fourth book, Mort. Susan Sto Helit is rather bored at her boarding school in the city of Ankh-Morpork, which is just as well, since it seems that her family business--she is the granddaughter of Death--suddenly needs a new caretaker. Added to which is the newest craze, Music With Rocks In.
