I love Katharine Kerr's Deverry series and read them regularly. This is the latest novel and I'm lead to believe is the penultimate one. I'm going to have to go back and re-read is since I devoured it too fast the first time around. If you don't know what it's like, it's fantasy and is based on the idea that people's past lives and actions can affect current or future lives you live. Love them and can't really add more than that, just counting the days until the next book comes out.

I really enjoyed this book and the series is excellent. This a a really well written science fantasy book.

Have been reading this series for years. And then I go backwards again and read them in chronological order, which is really quite confusing and takes some pre planning, and bookmarking and you end up with 13 books spread all around you for the duration of the exercise. It's crazy, but good fun

Ok I'm giving this a top 10 without even reading it! The series is amazing, one of the best I've read, this book can't be bad, it's not possible! I'll let you know for sure in like 2 days ( darn shipping)
