This was such an absorbing book! I couldn't put it down. It's not particularly brilliant in terms of plot or anything, but it is a wonderful story. A must-read, particularly for anyone with any interest in homosexual issues.

Yates' first book, but I prefer The Brothers Bishop better. Still, I enjoy reading Yates' work.

This is one of the books where you intify from the reader from the beginning.Yates does a good job blending in diffenent lives easily.The main,Noah,is human and real and we all have at least a part of us in him.That's what makes it sooo addictive!

Amazingly written.....The writer is just astonishing.I must say it's his writing that kept me hung to the book till the end.........Of'course the story is good.......but I found it "Ok",I mean who has freaky skeletons hidden in their houses,Who gets raped by their dad,Or by their first date......That happens, but I guess not ALL in the same book eh! All that freaked me out a bit.......Maybe I enjoyed it more probably due the way its written.......And yea probably thats the way a teenage mind thinks.......And I wont really call it a "Gay" novel or a "Gay" plot......I think the "Gay" thing in the book is just one part of it.......it has several more things in it.....which are more or maybe equally important.........Anyways it was "Truly worth a read"
