This is a fun book. Very "Bridget Jone's Diary." Sometimes you just need something fluffy to read. This book is a beach read.

Similar to the last Jane Green I read, I wasn't all that crazy about the first 50-75% of the book. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't so engaging that I couldn't wait to pick it up again. But then - WHAM! I couldn't put it down. Makes me want to pick up another Jane Green.

Really fun read! I've read this book several times and like the concept of how people are treated differently based on their looks, and learning to find a middle ground on accepting them.

I have found great humor and wit in this authors eyes as she used the humorous side of her woes but twists them with a sensitivity known to many of us. We long for things, we wont accept ourselves. Yet we expect others to. At times it is a bit reminiscent of The Diary of Bridgette Jones. Written better though overall I believe.
