Fascinating. I think that, besides Glatman and Bundy, Ramirez is the serial killer that terrifies me the most.

Brilliantly written.Richard Ramirez is a cruel definition of terror. After reading this book I have found that I want to know more about Richard. Another book I couldn't put down from the time I picked it up.

Takes you inside the life of Richard Ramirez,the psycho devil worshiping killer of the 80's, in LA. This book is based on all the true killings and actions of this maniac who had women and girls (including me) scared to run around alone in the SFV.

Good for a crime book. I found that it was well done in a keeping-in-time sense, most crime books I've read jump all over the place when concerning time, this book did not do that which I was pleased with. Trial dragged on a little, but everything /did/ need to be explained, and with it being so complicated, I don't blame the author. Didn't find the interview particularly intriguing, didn't add anything, or take away. Overall though, good read.

Dont be suckered in to thinking that this man can be rehabilitated, he had choices, he made the wrong ones from an early age.He enjoyed what he did and if let out, he would do it all again.

This is by far one of the best True Crime books I've ever read, and I've read a lot. Carlo has an amazing way with details and yeah the trail part runs a bit long but it all needs to be there. The reissue comes with an awesome interview he had with Richard as well and it just makes this book even better. The pictures are really "shocking", as the back cover suggests, but like Richards trail...things can seem a farce sometimes.
