Just finished the series today (read all three in 3 days). Really fun! I'm not a huge Harry Potter fan, I've read them all, but probably wouldn't run out to read them again. These I could read repeatedly.

I thought this would be a really good book. It turned out to be pretty mediocre. I noticed there was a lot of author telling the readers what happened rather than showing.

This was an awesome book that I literally could not put down until i finished!! I didn't sleep for two days until I finished it and I so glad I did!! It has a twist that I didn't expect and I can't believe how many wizards and spell casters have been so close to him for his entire life!! Crazy stuff.

well this is d first bk.... jack is an ordinary boy who attends a Trinity High School. the only thing tht separates him from bein a normal boy is the weird medicine he has tuh take as well as the scar above his heart.. one day he totally forgets his medicine.... bt he feels gr8.. and soccer tryout in the evening...he suddenly has a rush of energy and make garret lobeck fly into the goal wid the ball...after tht incident... will Jack find out more about his past....Why does Aunt linda and Nick pay soo much attention to him!!!!.... will Jack play for Hastings in the raven ghyll's tournament... and finally, will jack be able to defeat his opponent even tho he/she is sumone who he nevr thought in his dizziest day/night dreams wud evr be sumone who wud be his ture love....

Good easy read. Fun, and an interesting premise. A bit predictable, but delivered a good climax.

This book starts off really slow, but after a few chapters it picks up and hooked me. There are a few twists I didn't see coming that made it awesome. I would definitely pick it up if your into the genre. Just don't drop it if the first couple of chapters lose you.

At first I was hesitant about reading this book, but I found that I couldn't stop reading it! When Jack Swift forgets to take his heart medicine one day, he discovers that his medicine has been suppressing supernatural powers. However, he learns that he is a warrior destined to fight to the death in a dangerous game between the White and Red Roses. And each side is trying to get him first, because he is one of the last warriors alive.

This book is so good. I could not let this book down. Or let it out of my sight that is how good it is. It has alot of fantasy, and action, and just a little romance. But not alot. I would recomend this to any one, of all ages.

This book was okay, I guess. They make Jack look like a wuss, and he never really does anything. The only thing that made this book any good to me was the plot twists. They made them really good, though, and that's why the book was interesting.

I must admit I picked up this book on a whim. I'd never heard of the author, but the cover looked interesting. It turned out to be one of the best books I'd ever read. When I finished, I ACHED for more. In my opinion, this book as the ability to be an EPIC story. I felt like I'd finished the prologue for The Iliad or something. And I immediately book the second book. It's hard to get through for a little bit, but I HIGHLY recommend it.

Jack enjoys his normal life in Trinity, Ohio. He spends time with his best friends, goes to school, and is extremely excited about soccer tryouts. Jack is very healthy, despite the thick scar that resides above his heart and the medicine he has to take every day. Life is ordinary - until he forgets to take his medicine. Soccer tryouts are a breeze. Jack has never felt so alive, and when his nemesis, Lobeck, gets in his way, Jack slams him into the goal - without touching him. Jack doesn't realize he is Weirlind, part of an underground society of magical people, and when he sent Lobeck flying into the soccer net, the magic he released acted as a signal to others around him.
