Excellent prose, full of vivid, passionate depictions. An amazing description of light makes the smallest stone and leaf easy to imagine and the slightest murmur to hear. With little effort You can smell either the moss or the blood.The plot, complement with the astonishing background of described nature, shows in quite eerie and terrifying way the spontaneous lust of young, rough minds. I love his blunt but beautiful language.

ai yai yai. i've had some harsh and bloody dreams thanks to this postwar story. This man is very good at catching emotions in a narrow light while passing by the larger issues.
