The best of Beckett's "Trilogy" with a wonderful (yet ambiguous) and horrifying end. Humorous and vulgar throughout, Molloy is a colorful journey by a wonderful modernist author.

Utterly captivating, hillarious and darkly tragic; with many unanswer questions that give only the hints of answers: is it a transformation? Who is Yudi? Who is Mother? Is the first part a sequel to the first? The degeneration and enlightened existential simplicity of Molloy vs. the complicated dogma of Moran makes for an interesting contrast.A masterpiece.

It's hard to be critical about Beckett, not that he would have cared much, but it is hard to feel comfortable criticizing. What it harder is forcing yourself to continue reading this after reaching the midway point and realizing it's not over.
