Nice and quick one about Lincoln's life and his presidency. It is incredible how firmly he believed in and fought against all odds for the emancipation of blacks and protection of the Union. Very inspiring account, particularly given his origins and upbringing. America is lucky to have him at the helm of affairs around the time the country was at the verge of breakdown. Hard to imagine US of A as we know it today had it not been Lincoln's resolve and leadership in those years of chaos and crisis. Abraham Lincoln's assassination draw striking parallels with that of Gandhi 63 years later. Both these great men fell after they accomplished their respective visions, one was to free blacks from slavery and the other freed a country from foreign hold. A good read for someone looking for a short bio of Uncle Abe.
