It feels in each page he curses God for the world's and his own pain and injustice wroth. What breaks my heart is not just his utter loss of faith, but that with his gift of words, he is able to build such a beautuful melancholy house on a foundation of despair.

Weird and depressing. Lowered my opinion of Wiesel. A bit strange. It explores despair but also includes some mystic views.

I didn't enjoy it as much as Night, but it certainly provided more insight into the suffering of a survivor, I'd still recommend it

Imposed on separate, but tragic accident, the book searches for meaning to life after trauma, when all seems to have been lost.Repetitive in places, but still powerful.
