One of the most superbly written books I have ever had the pleasure to read! Schweitzer's style is bitterly dark, yet supernaturally beautiful and completely original. The narrative is riveting and the dark magic in this book is frighteningly real... as if written by one who has experienced it first hand. At times the darkness and terror in this book borders on excessive and becomes overwhelming, but that only makes this work all the more powerful in the end. not recommended to most, but essential for those who are prepared.
