This book has that difficult transitional point that many sagas contain. It has some hard things to get past in it, but the complexities that Card weaves and resolves at the end shows his master ability at story telling. As such, it's not my favorite in the series, but still a vital part of it.

The Second in the Harmony series by OSC, and a mojor must read if you enjoyed Enders Game :)

So far, I'd say this is OSC's weakest series. The pace is absolutely tedious, and it doesn't seem to have the oomph of his other novels. Hopefully it will pick up soon. It's still a great novel, it just has pacing issues.

The coninuation of Orson Scott Cards Memory of Earth this book continues on Nafai's dream of going back to the forgotten planet earth. However with the new arrival of the Wethead General things go askew.

A great little book following the events of Nafai and company after the events in "The Memory of Earth". When an invading general comes to conquer Basilica and the Oversoul weakins in power, Nafai and family must find people to travel with them to begin the long trek twords Earth.

I enjoyed this book even more than the first. I really find the new plot twists to be interesting and I look forward to leaning who this Keeper of Earth is and what the dreams represent. The ending was much more definitive the first book, so I am quite content. I look forward to opening up the third book now and acquiring the rest. As for the continued relation to the Book of Mormon, I find it to be quite unintrusive. From my own studies, I have found the Book of Mormon to be an disheartening piece of fiction and I was a little worried about how much it would influence these books. In my opinion, these books are more closely related to the Torah. So, I have been very pleased in this respect.
