My Favourite of the series so far, the urgency and mad nature of Rand's plan is excellently handled in this, leading to an epic finale to this novel in the shadow of Shadar Logath.

Book 9. Longest single series I've read so far. It's good, but introducing a world of new characters all at once.

A really captivating book in the series so far, has really drawn me back into the series after losing some interest in the last couple of books. Really looking forward to the next book after the goings on in Winters Heart

I was kind of disappointed because there was so little action in this book. I waited years for it to come out, and things had pretty much ground to a halt...and I knew it would be years before the next book came out. (In his defense, Jordan was battling the illness which eventually took his life when he wrote this) It was after this book I decided not to read any more of this series till it was finished.

The complex story is expanded adding new characters and layers of story-line. No other fantasy writer comes close to Robert Jordan. The epic continues. Rich new characters are introduced and old one's explored even further. No other writer comes even close to the detail and complexity of "The Wheel of Time!"

Loved the whole series. For a long time every time a new one came out, I went back and started at book 1 again and read all the way up to the newest release. Excellent series....long but excellent.

This was the toughest book in the series for me as the plot plods on. However one cannot miss anything as major decisions are being made:( :)

Better then the last but still very disappointing. Those that still consider this a great fantasy series have yet to explore the world of fantasy. The first three or four books were great but the series has spiraled rapidly since.

After reading book seven and eight i really thought that the series was slowing down and while they started to bore me a little they held my attention because i knew that there was going to be something that blew my mind. And BEHOLD! Winter's Heart (#9) quite possibly my favorite book of the series so far, though i still have three more to read to be done with the current series and two more after that. Cant wait to find out how the series ends, two years from now :(
