Loved it. The characters jump of the page and the story is riveting, convincing, engaging and most importantly, entertaining.

I only read this because Nick McN said they got the name for 'Anima-a-a-l' fom it, when Rodolpho or someone shouts it at a significant moment. I wonder if Arthur Miller is still a major part of the UK English school sylabus.

Read it for ASL class... At first it may seems boring but it amazed me to see the depths of this play. Least favourite character: Eddie lol

Read for GCSE and would love to read again. Once you have seen the play you will appreciate the depth of this script. Seen at the Royal Exchange, Manchester in 1988 with John Thaw as lead Protagonist. The role of the Narrator is one that is especially effective in this account of family loyalty and the 'American Dream'.
