Not many writers are brave enough to deconstruct themselves and talk about what didn't work and why, but Gary Larson is. THE PREHISTORY OF THE FAR SIDE is a surprisingly personal and revealing book from the one-panel cartoon genius brings many of us as close to nature as we're ever going to get. I love the fact Gary Larson puts an index of titles of the cartoons at the back of the book and the only letter of the alphabet with cartoons listed is the letter "T" because every single cartoon is listed as "The one about . . ."

Ehhh... I'm not sure about this one. I've seen funnier cartoons by Gary Larson. This wasn't high on my list.
