I love both stories in this book. Christine Feehan has been a favorite of mine for ages, and I love the Carpathians, but what Marjorie Liu does with gargoyles...spectacular! Opens up a whole new genre. (hint hint, val :) )

I just love Christine's Dark series. I am about 1/2 way done with this series of books. I hope she continues them for a long time to come.

Definitely like the strength of Sarah's character, she isn't a withering voilet and is very willing to do what she believes is best for the children she is taking care of and her lifemate. Falcon's character is definitely good, and it is one of the first gimsples we have of the warriors first sent out aganist the vampire threat.

Love her! She writes awesome vamp love stories too. Its not all vamp some are animals too. All awesome
