I'm half way through this book. It's okay though a little simple. The names mentioned in the blurb don't match the names in the book - weird!

Having read The Cellar (1st in the Beast House series) I knew a few things going into the book, but that did not make it any less intriguing. The plot was really gripping to the last chapter, and despite knowing that this isn't the last of the series, it has a pleasing ending that actually feels like it could end there. I'm very hopeful for what Midnight Tour brings. As always Richard Laymon never ceases to entertain his readers.

This second book in the series is carries on nicely from the first and again is agreat read and had a bit nicer ending than the first.

Compared to the first book, The Cellar, this is a mere shadow, especially at the beginning. The climax is more Laymon style suspense and twisted thrills, gripping you by the crotch and yanking you through to the bloody finale.
