This is a quick read, based on real situations, made me cry in two places- the shocking hardship and events to children all because of useless and endless war in war torn environments - compassion and peace is so far away for some - how can this be??

Normally I don't like the sequel better than the first book, but this is just one of those cases in which that isn't true. This is one of my all time favorite books. You really feel as if you are taking the journey along with Parvana. WARNING-REALLY SAD
