My least favorite in the Chronicles so far. Maybe it was cause I wasn't paying attention...but than again if an author can't MAKE you pay attention, they aren't doing that great.

I chose this book before i bought any other narnia books, i feel like its the most interseting one out of all of them, and i like how they got new characters like Jill Pole and Eustace became the lead role, it gives you suspense, C.S lewis was a very talanted writer

worth every minute. adventure and suspense with strange characters. characters that are imaginative but if not some creature, could possibly be someone you might know. the plot is make believe but some how hits you in a personal, close way.

The Christian allegory was less apparent to me in this book as an over-arching theme (such as is typical for Lewis' series). Rather, it seemed to be displayed in specific situations and plot developments.
