Another great novel by Garcia Marquez!! Highly recommend it. The setting and place are perfect. Catch the movie too if you get a chance, but not before reading the book! The book has much more details as you would expect it.

Excelente historia, te mantiene en suspenso y lo mejor es que es inesperado porque no resuelve el problema, es decir nunca dice cual era la verdad. Depende del lector

While not the best story , nor narrative yet I came away with a sense of having visited a diff cultures and havinglived in it as well as having walked in the minds of several characters , perhaps the whole town . Amazing. A new narrative structure which I love, and original telling of the story.

In my humble opinion, this is Garcia´s best book ....or lets say, one of the best, this novel proves that a story does not necessarilly require to be writen on hundreds of pages to prove its point ... and leave a deep impression in every reader.....here Garcia managed not to kill the originality of the story by writing it in a really witty and slightly twisted way :)) ........ knowing the end in the beginning does definitely not make it any less amusing ...enjoy ;)
