I love Haruki Murakami's writing, but short stories really aren't his strong point.

I'm generally reading 2-3 books at a time, both fiction and non-fiction. Short stories are good to read when you have limited time, but need to fill the gap. I've enjoyed other Murakami books and these stories seem to be in the same vein ... a little quirky.
