Loved it!A very fast read. It was an easy read-out-loud to the girls....very emotional stuff. Maria gets it.

Based on a speech she gave at a commencement address. Liked the narrative before the text of the speech. The speech was trite.

This book was horrible. The poem that Shriver wrote could have been better written by a third grader. Seriously.

Shriver's graduation poem "Just Who Will You Be?" read a bit like Dr. Seuss and his rhyme scheme, but I liked this passage: "That's the time to unwrap the person you are and ask the question: 'Just who will I be?' I now realize that everyone I've ever met in my life who's interesting, who has a life of deep meaning and joy, is still open to new answers to that question, new opportunities for change and growth."

Awesome read for any age. This book can be read in 2 hours... Maria is in the middle of rediscovering herself and making a transition. The question raised here is not what we want to be (although an important question) who will you be. It is never to late to become who you want to be...

This is a really good one to give a high school graduate. More appropriate for high school graduates than college graduates, but good story none the less.

A quick read -- no more than 30 minutes, and the perfect amount of time to be reminded about who we want to be, not what, but how we want our inner core to show to others. A nice book, and a nice gift for friends, graduates and anyone else who has a positive attitude.

I was in Best Buy to get a present for my brother in law and saw this book on the shelf... true to form of a busy working woman I skimmed two pages in the middle and felt I had wasted time so I put it down and continued to shop.. I felt someday I'd look that book up... but then the next morning at my nursing home job a little old lady (almost 91) came by and brought it to me and said she wanted me to read it. I felt like God brought it to me by courier service.. a little old lady who loves to cheer me on in my talents and such, and I just cant say enough how affirming this book is. I'm glad Maria Shriver had the courage to put it on paper...just the kind of example I needed in this stage in my life.
