Frith, a neuroscientist, explores the relationship between mind and brain. This is an introduction to the biology of mental processes for 'the general reader', incorporating evidence from brain imaging, psychological experiments, and studies of neuropsychological patients. Given the masses of information gleaned from research even just in the past decade or two, the treatment of each topic is necessarily brief and a bit superficial. But probably pretty interesting if you don't as yet know much about the brain.
