So funny and sad at the same time. Very real! I can relate to a lot of things in this book, being a fairly new mom. I laughed and cried, especially at the ending. I hated it was over!

I loved her first two books, but didn't read this when it came out. The subject of childbearing was a little too close to home at the time. It got returned while I was working at the library last week, so I finally read it. (It was the first adult book I have read in a looong time.) It was still a tough read at times, but I identified with many of the emotions and experiences of the characters since I am now a parent. I would recommend it for light reading by moms. But I still think Good in Bed is her best book!

I enjoyed this book. I found it nicely written and it provided me company during yet another business trip (I try to avoid television while traveling). While the premise of the story (a group of women meeting due to their similarity - having yourng children and struggling through it for various reasons) was distant to me (not something I readily could apply any relation to - I did enjoy the story and recommended it to friends.

Accurately captures the emotions of a mother that has lost an infant to SIDS. Very well written, a great tear jerker :)

The first of Weiner's books that I've read. Easy, fast, slightly entertaining summer read. Not much else to say....

This book was really good -- with the exception of the way the love-making scene starring the plus-sized character, Becky, was depicted. I am a plus-sized woman, and the idea of using cooking oil in the bedroom (apparently thrown in there because she is a fat girl -- so of course she is associated with fattening food playing a major role in everything she does??) is kind of offensive. I don't believe that part was really necessary. Besides that complaint, though, the rest of the book was really great. I do recommend it.

Loved this book. I had a huge smile on my face when I got to the last page. Loved Lia's struggle and watching her year unfold in a way that helped her heal. 5 stars!

While this wasn't an earth shattering story by any means it was still a fun read, especially if you are pregnant at the time! A good read for any mother!

A really great story about 4 new moms, their lives, and the secrets they keep from the outside world. Really funny, too! Particularly one of the mother - in - law characters.
