Not the best Stephen King ever, but very readable. I was also surprised to find myself rooting for the baby's kidnapper, go figure!

Awesome book! Well worth reading if you like a story of an insane man plotting to kidnap a baby and talking to his dead friend.

An engaging and readable book - read it in two sessions - but not a story to linger in the mind. Unlike many other reviewers, I thought there was lots of character development and insight. I also found it very sad.
