I'm glad I read this book. I don't know if I'll ever read it again. What's interesting is that I remember things about this book more than I usually remember things. I think because it's a stream of consciousness writing style. Interesting.

at first, i couldn't get into the book...and then along came the dinner party. it's perfect. I wonder if it seems to you, Luriana, Lurilee, That all the lives we ever lived And all the lives to be, are full of trees and changing leaves, Luriana, Lurilee. <3

Horrid would be a compliment! I am not sure what is so special about the Stream-of-consciousness here, and I don't see why Virginia Woolf should be given so much credit.. I have read the book twice.. with attention to every little detail and still I cannot recommend this to my mortal enemy! It is a waste of time, energy and peace of mind. Seriously, get some sleep instead. Though, short it is soooo boring. My questions have mingled my professor and had her avoid me! Really bad book!
