Vrey unusual Agatha Christie book. I think this was her only story that was set in the past (Egypt & pharaohs no less), and combined elements of a romance with the usual murder mystery in much higher measure than in her other books. As she weaves her story with the familiar patterns of anger, rivalry, jealousy, betrayal and love, you realise that even 4000 years ago, human emotions and motivations may not have been that different!!

A very interesting variation for Christie, as it is set in ancient Egypt. The ending was hard to guess, but the atmosphere was amazing. Not one of her regular detectives, but an amazing story.
