Thought it was really boring. Not being a die hard supporter makes difficult to get to grips with the book. It is not beautifully written nor do I recognise myself.

Thank goodness I didn't buy this book! It was a hard slog to get to the end since I know very little about soccer!

This is my second time reading this book, and I enjoy it immensely. The insights of a superfan into the sport crosses all cultures; many of the things he said about his love of soccer I felt myself agreeing with in regards to baseball. Hornby is not afraid to expose his obsession, and the book is an excellent read because of it. I highly recommend it, although it helps to have a basic knowledge of soccer and London. And, of course, Go Gunners!

The second best book ever written about Arsenal. I have to say I have recently read a book titled 'San Francesca' by JJ Williams which tops Hornby's Novel.

So dull! If you're not into soccer, and in particular English soccer, just forget about it. A big disappointment from Hornby, however I guess that for English soccer fans it will be fascinating... Maybe High Fidelity will be boring read for those not into the 70s and 80s music...

This is a classic for true football (soccer) fans. Reading this book i understood everything Nick Hornby was talking about and everything he went through as a fan of the beautiful game.
