i cried many times during this book. very inspirational. can't think of any other book that would be better to read for a christian. so inspiring.

This book is great, I recommend it for all Christians! Very humbling to learn what so many others have sacrificed for their faith. It chronicles Christians from all eras, including those who are suffering today. Very easy to read as well.

I like it better than Foxes' Book of Martyrs, because it's written in more contemporary language and not everyone dies. Of course, getting beaten within an inch of death isn't much better, but at least I didn't already know the end of every story.
